Notes

I needed something super soft to curl up with for reading a good book on cold winter evenings.

Yarn: The Camuse, which I used for the body was super soft, very light and WARM!!! For the edging I used a leftover (merino/silk/polyamid/cashmere blend from Lana Grossa).

Pattern: Very exciting because of many stitch variations which develop harmoniously out of each other. The chart is a bit of a challenge because only one half of the shawl is charted. I solved the problem by scanning and rotating the chart for the other half. As my gauge differed widely because of the thinner yarn I adapted some pattern sections to prevent the shawl from being too small. It was easy for the garter, stockinette, knit/purl and cable section. The adaptation of the lace sections would have been too time consuming and wasn’t necessary.

Edging:
I chose a contrasting color for the edging. I used it for the Slip-Stitch-Crochet bind off and the Single-Crochet hem (other side of the shawl).

Width (center spine): 76cm (30”)
