Not sure I’m liking how the yarn looks. Think I’ll keep it since I haven’t figured out a better use for it.

Argh. So, majorly messed up. Didn’t realize it was a k3tog tbl followed by a k3tog. I’ve been making the latter as a k3tog tbl. I wondered why there were two of the same left-leaning decreases back to back.
I’ve already completed seven sections so I guess I’ll keep it the way it is? I don’t really want to frog it at this point.

Up to 13 leaf sections. Judging by previous sections and how much yarn I have left, looks like I’ll have 18 sections total to use all of the yarn.

Finished! Kept putting this project off, but I forced myself to finish it today.
Took about 30 minutes for each leaf section repeat.
Ended up with 18 leaves as expected. Just barely didn’t run out of yarn. Probably had 2 yards leftover.
Checked the dimensions and read that the scarf should have a circumference of 67”. I found that concerning since my scarf was definitely not that long. The yarn is acrylic and I find blocking projects with it too be a waste of time. Fortunately the scarf seems to be stretching with time.
At first I didn’t think I was looping it correctly to twist in the front due to a bulge. After studying it a bit, I think I am doing twisting it correctly. DK or sport yarn would probably lend themselves better for drape and less bulk in the twist.
I really like how this yarn knits up. Really shows off the even stitches in the garter stitch rows. Not keen with the color pattern when the scarf loops around itself. The colors stack on each other. I guess omitting one color block would fix the problem (although I probably couldn’t get it over my head).
