Realized I meet guage perfectly. Neat.

Noticed that I picked up stitches for the earflaps on the purl bumps for this hat, as opposed to the first row like the first hat I made. This time there isn’t a purl bump remnant on the earflaps.

Still can’t make proper pom poms, even with the Clover pom pom maker. Considering taking it off because I’m afraid of losing strands, especially during washing.

This colorway is super ugly. Don’t understand why it has such a drab yellow.

Got the hat finished in a day. Took a bit getting around to crochet the border. Used up almost an entire section of yellow. Which is good because I had used a length of yellow to practice the border, used up the rest of the yarn on another project.

Used a G hook for border.
