I showed these socks to the hubby this afternoon and he said “you should name then Strawberries and Banana. Oh, whipped cream! Name them Strawberry-Banana with Whipped Cream.” And that was that.

CO 12 Sts, increased to 30.

Dyed with pink lemonade and lemonade Kool-aid. Skein divided into 4 parts, white, yellow, white, pink.

Update 9.25 - just need to do a sewn bind off on both socks. Turns out I had less yarn in one skein than the other, so I needed to rip back a few rows of ribbing on the first sock to make them even.

Update 9.23 - 25 more rows, then the rib cuff and I’m done!

Update 9.16 - on 5th of 20 increases on the calf…shouldn’t take too much longer. And after this regular height socks should feel like a breeze.

Update 8.29 - I have the sock ready for either a bind off, or a few more rows of knitting. But I wont’ be doing either until I get the second sock knit and discover how much yarn I have in that skein. I split the two skeins according to weight…but I know there will be some variance.

Update 8.21 - I have just a little more to go on the first sock, and not a log of yarn to do it. The striping was great on the foot and lower leg, but I’m getting some not-so-hot pooling around the calf. But I’ve come this far… Getting distracted by a sweater. I really should finish off this sock so I’ll at least be half way done.
