I finished the seaming the morning of the 12th.

Mods: I worked the body in the round rather than back and forth. It was just easier. I also left all stitches live to work with the border

I knit the border on to the body by knitting the last stitch of the row to a live body stitch. The right side of the body joins with the wrong side of the border. I also did a provisional cast on to allow grafting of the border ends.

I added beads to the last row of the border repeat. After casting off three, I added a bead every other stitch.

2/11/2011 Currently working on seaming the sleeves to wear tomorrow to the Pittsburgh Knit & Crochet Festival.

2/10/2011 Cranking on the second sleeve, should finish all but last repeat before tomorrow.

2/9/2011 Blocked the body on the floor. Hopefully the dog won’t step on it.

2/8/2011 only 30 more border repeats to go on the border. The second sleeve is about halfway. I’m hoping to block the body tomorrow.

1/31/2011 Finished the first sleeve. Now starting the second sleeve and working on the border.

1/23/11 Finished the body. Starting with sleeves as I wait for my beads to arrive for the border.

12/31/10 I started with the body. I cast on one less stitch and worked in the round.

I’ll be knitting on the border starting with a provisional cast on to graft to end.
