Made a few mods for a larger/longer sack to hopefully get more use out of it.

Gauge on 8’s in stockinette stitch above the owl cables but more like 4.5 below the cables.

86 stitches and P2 at beginning of each round to keep purls between owls even.

Did a couple of decrease rounds about 13” from top of owls (not the top of the sack itself) for 80 stitches around before beginning ribbing.

Switched from 8s to 6s for Sheepy Sack(ish) ribbing at bottom. K3, P1 for 8 rounds. Knit eyelet row. K2, P2 for 8 rounds. BO with size 8 needles.

Used just a tiny bit of second skein for last inch or so of ribbing.

Crocheted tie (two strands held together) to cinch bottom of sack when babe is small and remove as she grows.

Update: This was one of our most used and beloved baby items. We used it until it was felted, worn, and completely outgrown. It was wonderful♥
