I decided I didn’t like the look of DC for the pants, so I changed it to sc. I just doubled the number of rows and that conversion worked fine.

I used one hook size larger than recommended on the hat, since I was afraid it was turning out too small for a newborn. As is it should be a perfect fit for a newborn, but I would definitely go up some more for an older baby.

The little glove and ball are just adorable! I made the ball first, and I admit I was skeptical since it was just so tiny, but of course once the glove was finished it all made sense and came together. I made the glove using a 4mm hook, since otherwise it would have been itty bitty.

I’m a little iffy on the sizing of the pattern. I matched gauge on the shirt with an H hook, but the pants turned out way small that way. I went up to the next size on the pants for a good fit.

The whole set also includes The MVP Rug, The Rookie of the Year Blanket, and 4 Squishy Baseballs.
