I agree, this is the worlds best diaper cover pattern. Its the exact shape and design as a Huggies baby diaper. I started this and wasnt crazy about the look with the larger hook, so i switched to a smaller hook (size H) and went up a size with the pattern for a 0-3 month size. Even though I probably could have still used the size H with the newborn sizing, I wanted to be safe (because you never know how big a baby will be born). The pattern was very simple to follow and worked up fairly quickly.

I only used one button instead of the two. However, I like how the pattern gives the option with the numerous button holes that allow for adjusting the waist size.

I used a hat pattern that I had, and wrote my own pattern for creating the mouse ears, mitts, suspenders and buttons. I’m so happy with how this turned out. Thanks for the wonderful pattern!
