Decided to make a 1x1 rib striped hat for my son for his birthday….ran into a roadblock with the decrease section, didn’t want to try to figure it out anytime soon…will just play with this whenever the urge hits…planning on using the turn a square raglan decreases, do it can keep in ribbing. Not liking the look of the decreases…put this away for awhile :)

Austin needs a new cowl, and i went into the closet to start gathering yarn to start his…came back across this, and he is happy with the stripes, and colors..and since I haven’t finished it yet, I am just going to do a little math, and get the increases i need to stay in the shape of the pattern, and turn this into his cowl..especially since I’m already on the right numbers for the straight section….YAY! Have a good head start with a 5 3/4” tube of 1x1 ribbing.

All done…just have a bunch id ends to work in….me and my bright ideas, lol… next time, don’t forget to carry the colors up the seam….
