Thanks to Filly who taught me how to use the caterinetta (tricotin), and even had one made for me (her dad made it :o)

I used some leftover yarn from this sweater

I made three ropes with the caterinetta and two crocheted ropes, then joined all together. I still need to optimize the joining and sewing… I wasn’t very happy, so I made a crocheted flower as a pin to use in case the person who is going to receive my gift wants to show the vintage button in the front (or wrap the thing twice around her neck).
