10th Shawl of 10-shawls-in-2010

I fell in love with the shawl when I saw it.
I purchased a cashmere vest in a thrift store and frog it to use the yarn. Incidentally, the color of this yarn is the same as the one used in the pattern.

I had to add two more repeats of the main pattern because I thought it was going to be too short, and then doubled the stitches in the edge. Knitting the edge took me long long time, and I think I spent as much time in knitting it as in knitting the main body.

It’s soft and light, and I am sure it’s superwarm :o)

Final measures: 148x53 cm or 58x21 in.
