This necklace is made with 11/0 purple, ametyst, and cream glass seed beads to create a 8-bead-around pattern.
The crochet part is about 15 1/5 inches or 39 cm.
I made this necklace with a technique called “bead crochet” that consists of stringing the seed beads on a polyesther thread in a pattern and then crocheting a bead in each stitch with a very thin hook. It took me about 10 hours to make each necklace (2 hours for stringing the beads and 7-8 hours for crocheting).
