I used a bit of BMFA heavyweight to do the cuff.

(These are not meant to be “pretty” socks. In fact, they’re made specifically to cause distress for Paul’s co-worker, who dislikes anything out of the ordinary, or anything that offends his delicate graphic designer sensibilities.)

Since I made these ankle height I had to beef up the cuff above the heel, so there are more rows on the back than the front.
