I’m knitting this again for myself, partly because I really liked knitting it but also because the published version of the pattern differs quite a bit from my original pattern. I found a couple errata and am working on recreating the charts for the body increases, so stay tuned!
I am making this version shorter because I can’t ever knit the same thing twice. I worked the body increases as written then worked one more repeat of the lace motif before dividing the body for the fronts and back.
Also, my original version has you pick up sts around the armholes, after sewing the shoulder seams, and knitting the sleeves down from there with some short rows (optional!) to create a bit more length on the curve of the shoulder.

I finished the original published version in a mad dash over Thanksgiving weekend. Stupidly I never took pictures of myself in it!

But, the bust on the small measures about 30-32 inches (it’s a bit variable because of the loose lace pattern) and my bust measures 37”. I like it with a tank top and some leggings or really tight jeans! It is meant to hang open and swing, so the fit for the two sizes has a fairly wide range. Vogue does the sizing for the patterns for the designers, but if you wanted to adapt this for a larger size you could try to add two repeats of the lace pattern to the Med/Large size. The cardigan could also be lengthened by working an extra repeat (or more) of the lace pattern after working the increases at the beginning of the pattern.
