Gauge is 18sts for 4”

CO 42 sts, knit 2 rows.

Setup row : k9, PM, k5, PM, k14, PM, k5, PM, k9.

Work raglan increases as follow :

• Row 1: k4, purl to last 4 sts, k4
• Row 2: (k to 1 st before marker, m1r, k2, m1l) repeat 4 times, knit to the end of the row

Work button hole in the right button band every 6 rows

On the 4th buttonhole row, separate the sleeves, casting on 2 sts in the armpits

Knit continuously keeping both button bands in front for 30 rows, then work a 6 row long garter st border and bind off.

Pick up sleeve stitches, picking in 4 sts in the gap under the arm, and knit in the round for about 15 rows. Work a 6 row garter st border and bind off.

Sew on the buttons and weave in the ends
