This pattern is worked over 12 rows, with a multiple of 14 sts + 3 (+5 edge sts on each side).

Instead of 153 sts, I cast on 97 (6 pattern repeats + 5 edge sts on each side) for a narrower shawl because the first time I made this pattern, I did the full version and it ended up way too wide (for me).

Cascade Heritage knits up nicely, but will definitely need to be blocked to better present the lace pattern. Also, the garter st border tends to fold over, maybe replacing it by a seed st border would help keeping it straight… Maybe I’ll try that next time.

I repeated the lace pattern a total of 37 times, for a finished shawl blocked at 19” wide and 73” long.
