Easy and elegantly simple cowl pattern, exquisite in the small details. I especially like the raised edge between the moss stitch and lace sections and the elegant slip stitch borders. I strongly recommend this pattern!

The yarn is composed of a blackish filling covered by a metallic mesh. I wasn’t sure at first if I would like this yarn, but turns out it renders texture beautifully. This yarn would get totally ruined if it was in contact will velcro though, gotta be careful.

October 24th
Just cast on for this project. It seems like it might be a fast project, the pattern is simple and easy to follow.

October 25th
I passed a third of the total length today, not quite the halfway mark yet but I’m definitely getting there soon.

November 4th
I just finished my mom’s cowl today. I used two full skeins, every single inch of them. With the leftover skein I have left, I think I’m going to try to whip up an assorted set of wristers, we’ll see.
