I’m working on modified gauge, using a chunky thick and thin “sport” (more like DK) yarn on 4mm needle.

Sections 1-3 done, halfway through section 4. Cables are not my forte, this is definitely taking me much longer than it should. But I love the result!

Section 4 done. I think I have a bit extra yarn, so I’ll see if I can work 8 or 16 more rows.

Can’t believe I’m finally done! It’s on the blocking mat! A whopping 3 weeks late. Also, I played a game of yarn chicken and I lost. By like… 10 stitches. So I borrowed about 10 inches of yarn from my last ball. All in all, was able to work 16 more rows of section 4, and repeated section 5 8 times instead of 7.

I’m thinking of making a pair of mittens or a hat with the left over skein.
