Notes

Just like my first Dessine-moi un mouton, I’m working this on modified gauge with fingering weight yarn instead of DK. I chose a charcoal yarn as the MC to feature a sky blue handspun yarn I had in stash.

I will be using the handspun as the CC for all stripes, I figured the changing color of the handspun will be enough to spice up the pattern without using many different colors.

This time, I’m loosely following the striping sequence though I’m changing a couple stripes to add more blue (like all blue sentions). I’m also starting the striping a little bit lower from the neck (3-4 more rows of the MC before starting the stripes).

Mods

  • Changed the striping sequence on two stripes to have single blocks of CC.

  • Sleeves worked straight, no decreases, and shorter to make a 3/4 sleeve ish

Picked this back up, will try to finish it as one of my pandemic knits. Working from home is great joy
