Simple granny square worked from the point up. I finished it with 4 full DC rows at the end. Pattern worked as follow:

Ch3 and slip stitch into the first ch.

1) Ch3, DC 2 times in the middle of the circle.

2) Ch3 and turn, 2DC in same st, ch1, 3DC in the last stitch (left corner)

3) Ch 3 and turn, 2DC in same st, ch1, 3DC in the ch1 space repeat this until the end of the row, ch1 , 3DC in the last st (left corner)

4) Repeat row 3 until you reach the desired lenght

5) Ch3 and turn, 2 DC in same st, DC in every stitch across, 3DC in the last stitch

6) Repeat row 5 3 times (or more, if you want a wider border)

I will probably add a fringe or a border of some kind to make it look more “finished”, but just haven’t come around to it yet… Still thinking about the best option.
