Well, I loved the color scheme of this yarn and I wanted to make a shawl out of it but I realized that this mohair-based yarn is really not ideal for my floor loom. The reed is wearing out the threads and they keep breaking, and since I mixed the weft with black cotton that doesn’t have the same elasticity, tension is getting all screwed up.

About 2 feet in, I realized this just wasn’t cutting it so I cut off the weft and took the 2 feet long piece of fabric off the loom. The fabric is nice and soft, but there’s so little of it that it certainly won’t be a shawl. I think I might make a craft bag out of it, mixing it with a solid black fabric.
