Test-knit for NellKnits - Seesaw Tee
Size medium, gauge 5 sts to an inch - blocked.

----------------Mods----------------
Waist decreases :
I worked the first 3 decreases as the pattern describes, which is 1 every 6 rows.
Then I switched to 1 decrease every 4 rows, and repeated it a total of 7 times for a grand total of 10 decrease rows.
After that, I worked 4 rows without shaping, then worked 4 increase rows, 1 every 4 rows.

Attaching the shoulders :
I proceeded a little differently than described in the pattern to attach the shoulders. What I did is that on the last lace pattern row (WS) for the front, I worked the sleeve stitches as required, then bound off the neck stitches and worked the other sleeve as normal. Then, I turned the work and knit all the stitches of the first sleeve and set aside. This brings the tail at the edge of the left sleeve, on the neck side. Doing the same thing on the back will bringing the tail to the edge of the right sleeve, on the neck side. Then, I just used the tails to bound off the shoulders using kitchener’s stitch.

----------------Yarn----------------
Well, I knew this yarn would be splitty since it’s a loosely spun single, but wow! It’s pretty hard to knit. It can definitely be done but it’ll be slow progress for sure. I’m not changing my mind though because this yarn is as soft as a cloud and the color is amazing.

Knitted the stockinette st swatch. I hand washed it and blocked it to size. I reached a perfect gauge of 20sts for a 4” square.

I cast on for the sweater today. I followed the instructions and knit the garter st border flat, then joined in the round.

29/03/2015
I just finished the bottom lace section and started the stockinette st body.

06/04/2015
I just separated the front and back, I made a minor mod to the body by adding some waist shaping. See the Mods section below.

08/04/2015
Finished the front, I used the longer sleeve. I’ll start the back tomorrow.

11/04/2015
I just finished the top section, just have to wash and block it now.
