---------------For next time---------------
* Work the yoke in the round, removing
the 2 edge stitches.
* Place the dec/inc on the back instead of the sides (see mods)
--------------------Mods--------------------
Waist shaping :
I did 7 waist decrease rows (1 every 4 rows), knitted 2 inches straight without any shaping and then started the hip increase rows (1 every 6 rows). I placed both decrease/increase sections on the back instead of the sides, about 41 stitches apart, centered.
Sleeves :
Picked up the stitches then knitted 2 rows in seed stitch, picking up 10 stitches in the underarm gap. then, I bind off using a stretchy bind off. I didn’t have ANY yarn left to knit a button band, so I simply sew the 2 sides together.
--------------------Yarn--------------------
All in all, I LOVED this yarn… until I washed it. It is the most wonderful, squishy scrumptious yarn to knit with, but it’s pilling SO BAD!!!! It is very luscious and soft, but my sweater gets so fuzzy every time I wash it that I don’t ever wear it… I’m really not sure I’ll want to use it ever again.

Just finished the lace yoke, that took a while.

I separated the sleeves and I’m slowly working my way towards the waist. I will be working some waist shaping, but I might do it differently than what is suggested in the pattern.

I spent the whole day in the car today with my honeybee driving from Quebec to his parent’s place in Ohio for the holidays - stuck in the car from 9AM to 10PM, ishhhh! I took advantage of the free time to work on my sweater, and was able to make good progress.

I finished the body last night, and started the sleeves (if we can really call them that) this morning.

After loosing weight, the bottom half of this sweater has become unsightly loose and shapeless. I think I’ll try to pick up stitches around the waist, frog and re-knit the bottom half to make it wearable again.
