Sweater for Very Shannon’s Summer Sweater KAL 2014. I originally started the KAL with my holywell cardigan, but got into a slump and decided to start another (easier and faster) project instead. It’s a personal pattern for now, but I plan on publishing it on Ravelry shortly after the KAL :)

Sept 2nd
2 weeks in, I’m still making slow progress. About a third of the sweater done, I started my second yellow skein yesterday. Neckline is done, sleeves are separated, I’m working the decrease rows towards the waist. I should finish this part and start the stripes tonight, from there it should progress a lot faster.

Sept 23rd
KAL ends tomorrow, so stressed out!!! I’m almost done though, I finished the body over the weekend, knit 1 sleeve and crocheted a scallop collar. I should be able to knit the 2nd sleeve and finish the project tonight, cross your fingers!

Sept 24th
I cannot believe I was able to finish it on time. Oh my God! I completed the right sleeve during my lunch break, weaved in all the ends and washed it in the evening. I’ll ask my honeybee to take pictures of me with it over the weekend, I’m so excited!!!
