The pattern doesn’t specify whether gauge should be in stockinette, ribbing, or the lace pattern. Frustrating. I’m just going to try for gauge in lace pattern and cross my fingers…

Using size 7 needles for ribbing and lace, and I began by casting on 86. After ribbing, increased up to 91.

I’m omitting the deep V from the back and just working it straight up to the full length -- I hate having the back of my neck naked. Also, I think it might help keep the shoulders from drooping and slipping off.
