I am happy to have finally finished this top which I started in October of last year and has been an UFO during the last months. But now it is completed and ready for Spring.
After finishing the yoke I continued knitting without binding off the stitches. I went on without doing the few rows of yoke finishing.
My leaf yoke top is clearly inspired by Sigrid’s version which I liked from the very beginning: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/garngamen/14-leaf-yoke-top
I made a longer body and did a few evenly spaced paired increases in order to reach the right number of stitches to repeat the yoke pattern (14 pattern repeats).
As for the sleeves, I made a few short rows as described for the body, but only 3 “wrap & turns” each on the knit and on the purl side. For the armhole shaping, I followed the directions as given for the body shaping, and after joining the stitches in the round I made evenly spaced paired decreases until I had 48 stitches on the needle to make the same leaf pattern as for the yoke (4 pattern repeats).
