Every time I start knitting something in black I promise myself that it will be the last time… but when I decided to knit Audrey I knew that it had to be in black; I couldn’t imagine any other colour for it.

As expected, it was quite a torture; not only was the pattern boring, the main problem was that I could hardly see what I was knitting. But well, my Audrey is completed now, I like it and that’s what counts.

I had some trouble with the increases and decreases in the front and the back; it took me some time to figure out whether to knit or to purl them.

I made the body and the sleeves a bit longer than called for. If I had to knit Audrey again, I would add even more length. I did 20 pattern repeats for the neckband.
