Yes, I smoke. I know it’s bad, I know I shouldn’t smoke, but until now I haven’t been strong enough to stop smoking, although I hope that one day I will be able to forget the cigarettes for ever.

But in the meantime I try to carry them around as stylishly as possible.

After discovering the pleasure of crocheting coin purses, I couldn’t resist trying to crochet a cigarette case. I didn’t find a suitable pattern, therefore I improvised a bit. The metal frame has a width of 7,5 cm. I started with a rectangular base of the same length and then crocheted in the round until the desired heigth was reached.

After sewing the frame on I found that the case looked too simple and needed a special touch. That’s why I crocheted a big flower and sewed it on the front.

I like the result. I will make more of these for sure! The case is wide enough to hold a pack of cigarettes and a lighter.
