When I discovered this cardigan on Ravelry, it was love at first sight. I couldn’t wait to start knitting it and was very excited and eager to finish it as soon as possible.

I must admit that while I was knitting it I found it a bit big, but I thought that after all it was a cardigan and a bit of positive ease would be fine…

Well, the finished cardigan turned out way too big for me. I cannot describe how disappointed I was, but soon I decided to give it a new home; I gave it to a dear friend of mine who is bustier than I am and has been wearing it constantly since I gave it to her. It fits her very well. Seeing how happy she is with it makes me feel happy as well and compensates me for all the work put in this project.

She has been so kind as to send me a few pictures, but I hope that she will allow me to take a few pictures “on the living object” the next time I see her.

I am knitting another one for me now and really hope to have chosen the right size and yarn this time…
