I can’t say that I have knitted many, many socks during my long knitting life, but so far these ones are the most beautiful and best fitting socks I have ever made.

They will be gifted to a dear friend of mine (after washing and blocking them, of course), but I will knit another pair of Fledermaus socks for myself as soon as possible.

The pattern is very easy to understand but requires a lot of concentration.

I have made the leg a few rows longer than called for, following these instructions, but ending the foot after row 39.
