Knitting this pretty top was fun, but also a bit tricky. The decreases of both the left and the right front required all my concentration. I spent a whole afternoon and evening for the left front, as I had to rip it multiple times until I was more or less satisfied with the result, which is far away from being perfect.

Assembling the whole thing was not easy either; the first time I made the straps too long. And I noticed it after having joined them and sewn them to the back

More than once I was tempted to give up, but I forced myself to complete my tank, as it was nearly finished.

However, the arm holes were too big and I didn’t feel comfortable, therefore I decided to take in the lower part of them with a crochet hook and a few slip stitches. It helped!

Also, I ended up sewing both front parts together. Although the tank has some positive ease, there were gaps between the buttons that I didn’t like.

After all, my Florence tank has turned out much better than expected. I find it a bit daring because I am not used to showing so much skin, but I like it.
