I am still so in love with this design of Laura Nelkin’s that I simply HAD to knit it again, this time in black.

It is so versatile… it can be dressed up or down and is my all time favorite summer top. I made this one a bit longer by knitting five rows before the first waist decreases and adding ten more rows to the waist before starting with the increases.

The arm holes were a bit too wide, but I took them in with a crochet border (one row of slipped stitches) and they are just fine now.

I took plenty of pictures of my black Jamie Lee but sadly no one shows the details of it (it’s black, you already know…)

I have yet another one in a light colour on the needles which hopefully will be finished very soon.
