I couldn’t help myself. I just had to knit another one. The tunic that I knitted last summer turned out a bit too short because I had not enough yarn, so this time the most important thing was to make sure that I would have plenty of it.

As my gauge was a bit off, I increased the number of rows between the body decreases. If I remember well, I made the first decreases on row 37 and then decreased three times every 35th and three times every 33rd row.

It turned out as long as desired, but after the first wash I felt that it had lost a bit in length. I have washed it again today and now it is drying on a hanger. I am relieved, it seems that it is returning to its original length again (longer than it appears on the pictures).

I am 100 % happy with how the tunic has turned out this time; who knows, perhaps I will knit yet another one next year, in another colour :)
