The first time I saw this unusual pullover I knew that I had to knit it. I took it as a challenge, I wanted to try something new.

It took me quite a long time to finish it, because the pattern of the back and of the sleeves is a bit boring and very time consuming. There are so many stitches to cross! Once or twice I was tempted to put this project away because I didn’t know whether the finished pullover would suit me, but now that it is completed I am very happy with it. I think that it has been worth the effort.

I made the upper body part about 5 cm longer than established in the pattern which, by the way, is very well written. Everything is very well explained (for example, the tubular cast on and cast off, which I had never tried before).

The only thing that I don’t like is that after having been sitting for a while a few wrinkles appeared on the lower part of the pullover, as can be seen on the pictures.

Today it is mother’s day in Spain and I have spent a really nice day. I have been out for lunch with my husband, my daughter and her boyfriend and have worn my Nobu for the first time.
