7th March: Cast on and knit the first 14 rows. My hands and nails were black from the black yarn!! I hope that after washing the pullover this issue will be solved… in the meantime, I think that I will buy some latex gloves to knit with.

12th May: Finally worn this pullover. I am happy with the result, but would definitely not use this yarn again, at least in a dark colour. After every knitting session I had completely black hands, I had to wash them thoroughly and it was difficult to get them clean. I tried to knit with latex gloves but it was very difficult.

As far as the pullover itself is concerned, I wanted it a little bit longer than the one shown in the book, so I added a few rows on body and sleeves.
