After a few weeks of hesitation I finally opened the side seams of the bottom and removed almost 20 cm of fabric, picked up the stitches, immediately cast them off and closed the seams again. Everything went well; the dress looked much better, but I still wasn’t completely happy because both side seams were very wavy; this had never happened to me before in my long knitting life. I put the dress away…

A few days ago I decided to give it a try and took my steam iron. I never iron my knitted garments because I am afraid to ruin them, but this time I very carefully steamed the seams of the dress and I am happy that I did, because it looks so much better now… the waves have disappeared. Everything is fine and I will proudly wear my Sigyn dress as often as I can. It is such a beautiful, elegant design and it keeps me so warm!
