I fell in love with this cardigan since the very beginning. I added it to my queue, removed it after some time, added it again… I never found the right moment to knit it. But a few months ago I did not want to wait any longer and casted on.

It was an interesting project and I really enjoyed knitting the cable part. I did not find it difficult at all, thanks to the stitch markers. They did a good job.

I had read on other project pages that the sleeves were too big if knitted according to the instructions, but instead of trusting in what other knitters said I had to cast on the stitch number given in the pattern, only to find out after about 30 cm that, in fact, the sleeve I was knitting was very, very big. Therefore I started again with fewer stitches.

I must say that I didn’t enjoy knitting with this yarn. I had never used it before and it broke almost every other row. After all, I like the final result, but I have never had to weave in so many loose ends…
