24.05.2011: Was going to use the Last Minute Knitted Gifts version of the Chevron Scarf but I did a bit of research and found that I prefer Sundara’s garter pattern better.

People who have made this scarf (either version) say that the yarn used on the chevron lace rows (not the yarn used for CO and the 1st four row) becomes the more noticeable yarn.

Holiday Yarns will be the background yarn and the Wired for Fibre Claudette (100% cashmere yumminess) will the dominant colour.

04.06.2011: I knit. And I knit. And I knit. This scarf moves very slowly but is starting to look rather awesome. The combination of the garter stitch, two different yarns contents and the colours is giving the scarf a very rustic feel/look.

Using Knit Picks Harmony on a 40cm cable.
