04/07/08: This scarf got cremated today with my Nanna. She was a beautiful woman who made me feel safe, happy and who gave me self-esteem. I don’t believe in taking things into death with you and neither did my Nanna but my Mother and her family do and they insisted that Nanna get cremated with this scarf I made. I am sure Nanna would not have liked the idea of it. But she did love the scarf and wore it everyday until she died.
