11.05.2011:
Did 6 rows in twisted rib stitch and using magic loop. I’m knitting tighter than normal for some reason.
Why do I always think “I’ll just CO loose with the prescribed needle size and it’ll all be fine”? Really wish I had used 5mm for the CO or used a stretchy CO.
For the next pair I make (oh, yes, there will be at least one other pair) I pledge to myself to go up a needle size for the CO.

Finished the first one except for the thumb. The buttery soft Malabrigo still makes my skin a bit itchy but not unbearably so. I love it.

Update
12.11.2013
I have worn them most days for two cold seasons now. They have really pilled but I always intended them as round-the-house mitts, not as a fashion accessory. They are warm, soft, comfy and utilitarian.
As Malabrigo is one of the few yarns I can wear next to my sensitive skin. this is my burden - to always use super-soft merino for next-to-skin high-usage project. sigh
