Notes

This is a sample, the first of the Game Of Thrones series (maybe…)

Maybe my gauge is a bit too loose, but I don’t want to stuff a lot, so stuffing won’t show. Usually I like my amigurumis to be firm because I think of them as shelf ornaments, but this time I want this doll to be soft and… huggable XD

To make the crown I used pearl cotton for it’s luster, paired with a strand of lamé to add a bit of sparkle… It doesn’t look like made of gold, but it will work :D

I have no black yarn similar to the tapestry wool in skin and brown. So I picked up a very thinner one and doubled it two times (I made a kind of 4-ply yarn). Under the electric light it looked black, but in the daylight I realized it was blue… SIGH!

After taking a photo I relized the beard had something wrong and I fixed it. Then I took a new photo, but in the meantime the sun went down and I needed to turn on the light… so colors are not the same! Editing with Photoshop wasn’t enough :/ The bottom picture is the best one, but does not show the real finished item.
