Notes

I can’t purchase more yarn right now so I’m using yarn from my stash.

I think this off white yarn is “aran” from red heart but not sure. My memory is shorter than my nose these days.

Stitch count for both corners

R1 - 22
R2 - 19
R3 - 16
R4 - 13
R5 - 10
R6 - 7
R7 - 4

On seconds corner make sure you start in top of chain 3 and always count the chain 3 as a stitch.

I really didn’t like the edging round and trying to evenly space those stitches. It was a pain but basically it is 2 stitches per row. I tried to always go through a space with more than one loop of yarn so it didn’t leave a hole.

10/9 - I’m having horrible back pain and it hurts to move so since I’m stuck here I’ve been working ahead. I just finished the first border but couldn’t get up to get more colors so I asked my husband to grab some… so here is where things might start looking a little odd LOL He picked a dark blue, a wine color and a bright leaf green.

7/9/2014 - I ended up having to put this aside because of my health. I decided to take a look at it today and realized I was almost done. There is only 1 and half rows left. So I’m going to finish this today.

I didn’t want to turn to work the last row since I’d left tails of the color for the corners long enough to finish off the last row. I failed to notice the turn part so the tails would be on the wrong side. I started to work the slip stitches without turning and it just doesn’t look good to me so I’m doing single crochets instead. In the corner chain 4 I’m ding sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc.
