Notes

It has been almost 2 years since I started this (Nov 2014). I just found it again and I am determined to finish it. I frogged it and I’m starting over. I decided to go with a size 4 needle. I am adding 3 stitches to each end so I cast on 40 stitches. I worked started with 7 rows of garter stitch (next time I’ll work 9).

I see they changed the gauge now but I’m not even going to do that. Size 4 looks good with the yarn I’m using but I wanted it a little wider so the added stitches to the edges help that. I also took the pattern to a word document and edited it so that instead of seeing “go to row x” I just pasted in the proper instructions. It is so much easier to follow without getting mixed up and making mistakes.

8/28/16 - 7 repeats done - almost used a full ball of yarn.

9/24/16 - I ended up doing 20 pattern repeats and ran out of yarn from the second skein just before the end so added just a little bit more.
