Blue, approx. 240 yards

Used thinner yarn and smaller hook than pattern called for. Gauge with hdc, 3”=10 stitches, 8 rows.

Body Adjustments:

• Because of smaller hook/yarn, adjusted body by working hdc in the round.
• Did not do last increase and did not complete last 6 rows.
• Worked a row of reverse sc as last row.

Caudal Fin:
Worked as written with H hook

Dorsal Fin:
Worked as written with H hook

Pectoral Fins Adjustments:
Came out to small with my yarn and hook so I adjusted.

• Worked separately then sewed to body at a slight angle.

• Worked with one decrease per row (first stitch) for 11 rows then worked an edge of sc before sewing on body. I sewed them a little farther back than I should have. Next time I’ll make them closer to the middle.
