Making for my son’s birthday and completing during Ravellenic2014.

Not overstuffing prevents having to use plastic canvas or cardboard for square shape.

I wanted it a tad bit bigger so I added an additional round on head, increased to 36 stitches and added two additional rounds. Head is 2” square. Attached the head lid (“neck”) to the head with slip stitches working in the blo of the lid and the flo of the head.

I believe I had to chain 8, not 7 for the body. Worked with one additional round of increases so it was in proportion with the additional increase for the head. Worked body until it was 3.5” long. Because I hate working in ends, I just decreased rather than start a separate body lid.

Stitched purple onto white felt for eyes then sewed them on. Worked arms/legs as written.

Very cute, can’t wait to give it to my son tomorrow.
