Another lion creature from a zombie monkey pattern for Halos of Hope/Stitches South On Safari collection.

This time I was trying to use up some yarn. I made the crown in yellow Baby Cakes until I ran out then finished up with the brown Hushabye until I ran out. I didn’t have enough to make the earflaps so I slip stitched the PompADoodle on the outside of the brown rounds and added some hanging pompoms as well for some extra fluff. The ears are made with two strands of Lion Brand CottonEase in maize.

It’s a little bit wacky but nice and soft on the inside. I hope a child will enjoy it.
