The next hat is what I am now calling the survival type hat. With these survival hats, I use whatever is on hand that seems to call to me. I have a few of these in other projects I probably should gather into a group--if I can figure that out.

This black hat was fun but it is the pom-pom that turned into a squiggly monster with little beady black eyes on top. I giggled when I saw it and decided not to trim it up like you are supposed to.

Oh, and then there is the funny basketweave patchwork bumble bee. It just happened. Like the rest of them. I hope they all find good homes and make someone happy.
