19April2011: Love the buttons! Surprisingly easter-y, unintentionally. Just in time for my (now) yearly photo shoot on the early spring McGill wildflowers. 2010.

A few mods:
1) A buttonhole in Big Wool with size 17 needles… only one stitch from the border? I don’t think so. I went two stitches in, greatly increased stability.

2) I decreased the sleeves to 16 sts final, instead of 20 sts. 8 rows of ribbing for the cuffs.

3) I knit the collar to the 8th buttonhole, then folded it over so the 7th and 8th buttonhole overlapped. Sewed it down for a double-collar 60’s look.

4) I used size 15 needles (instead of 17) for the collar and cuffs.

31March2011: Made a sweater with The Big Wool, hated it. Take 2. Interestingly enough, I prefer this yarn after frogging! A bit felted and funky, won’t pill as much, I’m positive.
