This is a perfect example of something I’d probably never knit but would love to do on a machine. All that stockinette, but so interesting to make!

I am using leftovers from this project. And of course still trying to match stripes, as usual! (not on the back, I’m letting that just be whatever it wants to be).

I found that the length of the horizontal and vertical strips were too long. To fix, I tried the piece on my sewing model and myself after each strip. Lots of static-y hair!

The strips roll naturally. After everything is done, you tack down the strips so that they open up.
