This yarn is a little thick for this gauge, so it’s a tad like an armor sweater, but maybe that will help with pilling. Also, my zippers are 3” instead of 6” so they will only be sewn into the ribbing, not above.

My zippers are not ‘separating zippers’, but they don’t need to be, IMO.
